Personality: Akira is one of the more serious students in class 1-A : she hardly ever goofs off (expect when hanging out with friend), unlike some of the other students. She is very focused on the situation at hand. She seems to harbor some romantic feelings for Hiromitsu Kiyoshi, her study partner and close friend, In the class itself, Akira was chosen as class rep because she's one the people the students often turn towards to assumes leadership in dire situations, such as during the fights and class programs and assesses situations in a logical manner. Though she felt like she didn't deserve it, Hiro and Aito both told her that it was something that was made for her and they wouldn't have chosen her if they didn't think she could do it. So she agreed, but she insisted on making Hiro her deputy, because she has strong trust in him. But to her surprise, people already wanted him as her deputy. It was actually a close decision between the two of them. This made her a little embarrassed and blushed after realizing this. She is extremely loyal to her friends and any new classmates, regardless of how new they are or what their background may be. In addition, Akira always stands up for her dreams (To save and prevent people from natural disasters) and is rather tenacious, During the battle training in the first year of U.A she attacked Aito and Hiro knowing they had a clear advantage in strength, power and tactics. She's a bit stubborn at times and tends to always call someone out on their mistakes.

Backstory: Akira was always a fan of rescue heroes, such as Thirteen who goes out, protects and save people from natural disasters. It was her dream to go and be a hero who saved people around the world from disasters, but when she found out her quirk was something so dangerously powerful, she thought how could someone like me possible help protect innocent people? She felt like this for weeks until she saw someone have an interview with her favorite hero Thirteen. In this interview he explained back when he was little he felt like his quirk was far to dangerous to be used to help other and the he himself couldn't be a real hero. But that was until he saw people who needed the help of his quirk and just from pure instinct he rushed over and used his black hole power to suck up all the rubble that was trapping these people. They thanked him and told him with a quirk like that, he should become a hero and it was at that moment Thirteen told everyone. No matter how dangerous you may think your abilities may seem, you can and will make a difference in peoples lives and become the hero that the world needs you to be. Akira felt moved and inspired by those words and then she decided that she would follow this path as well. That if someone as powerful and strong as Thirteen felt the same I did, then that means my quirk can be used to help people. I will become the hero the world needs me to be she exclaimed and it was on that day she practiced to use her powers in various of ways and then go to U.A, so when the time comes, she can be ready to protect the people she cares about and many others as well.
